Box Score AUGUSTA, Ga. – The Augusta University women's basketball team dropped a heartbreaker to UNC Pembroke in overtime, 61-60. Traveling to their first away game in over a month and a half, the loss moves the Jaguars to 4-4 overall, 3-1 in PBC play while the Braves move to 2-7, 2-6 in PBC Play.

Augusta sophomore Kennedi Manning led the team with 15 points and 10 rebounds. Senior Zairya West added 10 points and five rebounds along with 3 steals. Asia Harrison also scored 10 points in the close defeat.
The Jaguars outshot the cougars from field goal range, but were outrebounded 39-31. UNC Pembroke took a 10 point advantage with 4:10 remaining in the second quarter, but the Jags were able to cut the lead to three at half. AU and Pembroke exchanged the lead for the entirety of the second half, with a made layup by Gabby Smith forcing overtime.
Pembroke's Diamond Frederick scored 6 of their 8 points in overtime. The Braves topped the Jaguars 61-60, breaking their three game win streak.
Augusta hosts Flagler on Saturday at 1:30pm in Christenberry Fieldhouse. AU then travels to take on North Georgia February 15th.
