Quinasia Abercrombie led Augusta in the PBC tournament championship game with 19 points and was named tournament Most Valuable Player.
Amari Jackson and
Elyse Autrey were also named to the all tournament team. The game was tied with just over three minutes to play before the Jaguars scored the last five points of the game for the historic victory.Â
On the year, Augusta finished 21-10 and became the first team in program history to produce three straight 20-win seasons.Â
The season was also highlighted by a road win against No. 2 Coker in November. Not only that, the team posted a win over every Peach Belt Conference foe over the course of the year, including a win over No. 8 Columbus St. in the semifinals of the PBC tournament.Â
