Box Score AUGUSTA, GA- Augusta women's basketball team slips against UNC Pembroke on Senior Day, 50-48. To start the day, the Augusta University and the women's basketball program celebrated seniors Zairya West and Stella Logbognon. Competing in the game prior to the last of the season, AU moves to 6-8, 5-5 in the Peach Belt Conference. The Braves improve to 3-11 3-10 in PBC play.

Augusta was led by another double-double by Kennedi Manning. The sophomore had 17 points, 15 rebounds, and 2 blocks in the game. Michaela Lane added 11 points.
Both teams were virtually even on the stat sheet, with Augusta outrebounding the Braves 38-35.
Augusta held an early lead, heading into the second quarter up 14-9. Junior transfer November Morton got off to a hot start, going 2-for-3 in the first 10 minutes of regulation. Kennedi Manning matched Morton's performance in the second quarter with 6 points of her own. The home team went to the locker room with a narrow 21-19 lead.
A made lay-up by Pembroke's Tiara Williams opened up a five point Pembroke lead with 5:36 left in the third quarter. Scores from Kennedi Manning and Asia Harrison put the Jags back on top by 2 in the fourth quarter, but the Jags were unable to overcome the deficit and fell 48-50.
Jaguar women's basketball plays its final game of the regular season on Monday March 1st when it plays Columbus State at 5:30pm. All games can be viewed on the PBC.
