KNOXVILLE, TN – Augusta University women's golf freshman
Chloe Holder finished 6-under par to win the Mercedes-Benz Women's Collegiate at Cherokee Country Club Tuesday afternoon. The Jaguars ascended 11 spots on the leader board in Round 2 and carded third place with an 864 (+12) out of 17 teams.

The Jaguars improved by 11 spots from Day One on the par-71, 5,946-yard course. Holder shot under par every round and carded the low round 2 score of the tournament with a 67 (-4) on Monday. She followed it with a 69 (-2) to win the title – the first individual win of her collegiate career.
Brigham Young survived Miami to win the Mercedes-Benz Intercollegiate 2-over par. The Hurricanes took second (+5). UTSA, UT Chattanooga, and Augusta all tied for third (+12).
The Jaguar's Kennedy Carroll tied for 12
th place, shooting 73s in Rounds 1 and 3 and shooting a 69 in Round 2.
Napabhach Boon-In ended 11 over in a tie for 58
th ,
Mary Hunt Murray tied for 64th, and
Natalia Yoko tied for 70
th.
Augusta heads to the Lady Paladin Invitational Sept 24-26 hosted by Furman, at Furman Golf Course in Greenville, SC.
