AIKEN, S.C. – The Augusta University volleyball team lost a 3-1 decision to Embry Riddle on Friday afternoon to open to 2021 season.

Head Coach Sharon Quarles' team was led by Alexis Diaz-Infante's 10 kills and blistering .471 hitting percentage. Kylie Martin and Chloe Allen both added 6 kills while Alyssa Dutton and Radka Brichackova added 5 kills apiece.

Setter Samantha Zittrauer distributed 17 assists while freshman Mollie Lawrence had 14 assists from the game.

Defensively, Holland Martin had a match-high 23 digs. Kylie Martin added 11 of her own.


Chloe Allen led the blocking effort with 4 blocks during the set.

The Jaguars return to action at 6pm against Auburn University Montgomery.
