Augusta, Ga- The Augusta University women's basketball team defeated the visiting Young Harris Mountain Lions 69-52 on Saturday afternoon in PBC play. Augusta improves to 9-3, 2-1 in PBC play while Young Harris moves to 9-4, 2-2 in PBC play.

The Mountain Lions' Carly Winters opened scoring, hitting a 3-pointer less than a minute into the contest. The Jaguars were about to answer, shooting 45.5% for the period and ending the quarter with a 5-point lead. A made 3-pointer by
November Morton with 8:00 minutes left to pay in the second quarter gave AU its first double-digit lead of the game.

The second half proved more of the same, with AU setting the tempo. The Jaguars never trailed, extending the lead to as many as 20 points.
November Morton carded 18 points to lead AU in the victory. The senior also posted 5 rebounds and 2 steals.
Ashleigh Boulin had a season-high 14 points.
Zairya West was also in double-digit scoring with 12 points.
