Augusta Women's XC Wraps Season with Seventh Place Finish at NCAA Southeast Regional

WINGATE, N.C.-The Augusta women's cross country team wrapped an impressive season – finishing seventh at the NCAA Southeast Regional Championship in Wingate, North Carolina on Nov. 19. Madison Kennedy and Cassie Lagan paced AU, finishing in 35th and 36th.

"The women got 7th which is a couple steps up from last year," said head coach Jacob Burgamy. When you consider that we graduated our top 2 individuals from last year's team and aren't graduating anyone from this team, it's a big step in the right direction going into next year."
