COLUMBIA, SC.- The No.2 Augusta University men's basketball team mounted a second-half comeback to defeat the Benedict Tigers 77-69 on Tuesday evening. Reigning PBC Player of the Year
Tyshaun Crawford led with 25 points – his third game this year with over 20 points.

Darren Lucas-White led all players with 9 assists.
Playing without star player
Ja'Queze Kirby, Augusta found themselves down 34-27 headed to the locker room at halftime. Augusta struggled to get going offensively, shooting only 29 percent from the field in the first half.
The Jaguars opened the second half on a 13-7 run to tie the game at 41 with 13:36 left to play. Arnold played the entire half, while Crawford played all but one minute. Both players tallied 19 points in the second half to propel the Jaguars to its third road win.
AU was able to capitalize on turnovers, scoring 24 points off Benedict errors. Augusta also won the battle of scoring in the paint 32-22.
