Augusta, Ga – Saturday afternoon was a top-seeded marquee matchup with heavy implications for both PBC and NCAA regional standings. The #12 Augusta University Men's Basketball team extended its winning streak to nine games and improved to 23-3 overall and 13-3 in the Peach Belt. #21 Flagler is now 20-5 overall and 13-3 in conference play. Both are tied atop the league standings with one week left in the regular season.

Crawford continued his streak of dominance. After scoring his first bucket of the contest, Crawford become te 35th player in Augusta history to reach 1,00 points. The junior carded 26 points and grabbed a game high 13 rebounds to lead Augusta. 16 of those points and 9 of those rebounds came in the first half.
Troy Cracknell added 16 points while
Tyree Myers tacked on 12 points. Myers made all eight free throw attempts.
Augusta out-rebounded Flagler 50-33 and the Jaguars made 25 free throws. Flagler attempted 24 from the charity stripe.
