AUGUSTA, Ga. – Senior
Natalia Yoko won the overall individual title at the 2022 Valspar Augusta Invitational. The Jaguar squad finished fifth as team. This year's event was shortened to 36 holes due to cold temperatures and high winds on day one Saturday.
RESULTS
The Jaguars shot a final round 298 (+1) today at the Forest Hills Golf Club led by a 2-under 70 from winner
Natalia Yoko. She paced the team, jumping four spots on the leaderboard in the second day of the tournament.
Nicole Page shot 75 and 77 and finished tied for 25
th overall at 8-over par.
Chloe Holder shot 82 and 74 and finished tied for 46
th. Napabhach Boon-in was the final counting score with a 78 on both days.
Kennedy Carroll finished tied for 55
th.
Petra Dunn competed as an individual and finished in 81
st for the tournament. Duran carded a final round score of 78 (+6)
The Woman's Golf Program has a quick turnaround as they are set to play in the one-day contest against Purdue University at the Palmetto Golf Club in Aiken, SC Tuesday March 15.
