Jaguars Top Cobras in Non-Conference Play
Hartsville, SC- The Augusta University Men's baseball team won 4-2 in a non-conference midweek game in Hartsville, SC against Coker College.

The Jaguars utilized a three run second inning to propel them to the victory. A
Jordan Wilkie single scored
Kyle LaRoche before Charlie Erickson hit a 2 RBI Homer. The Cobras added one run in the sixth inning before AU tacked on an insurance run on a bases loaded walk in the seventh inning.
The Jaguars were led by Charlie Erickson, who recorded 4 hits, 2 RBIs, and 1 run.
Ben Markiewicz,
Walker Sinclair,
Skylor Murphy, and
Kyle LaRoche each carded 2 hits on the afternoon.

Eli McMullen started on the mound for Augusta.
Brian Trepanier would secure the win. Nine different pitchers would see pitching action with
Britt Kelly getting the save after tossing the final inning.

The Jaguars will be back in action this weekend March 4-6 when they open conference play on the roach in Saint Augusta, Fl. AU will take on Flagler for a single game on Friday night at 6:00pm before playing an afternoon double-header on Saturday.
