AUGUSTA, Ga- The Augusta University baseball team won a mid-week game 7-4 against visiting College of Saint Rose Tuesday afternoon at Jaguar Field. The Jaguars notched 13 hits and carded 7 runs in the contest. Augusta hosts Young Harris this weekend March 12-13 for a three game series.

Skylor Murphy started AU scoring in the first with a double to center field that scored
Walker Sinclair and Patrick Galvin. Saint Rose answered with 2 runs in the third inning and a single in the fifth inning to put the visitors up 3-2. A 2 RBI single from
Trevor Maddox in the fifth matched a 2 RBI double by
Harrison Aulds in the 6
th to put Augusta back on top 6-3. A sacrifice fly by
Jordan Wilkie pushed
Skylor Murphy home and capped scoring for the Jags.

Skylor Murphy paced the Jags offensively, going 3-for-4 with 2 runs and 2 RBI.
Trevor Maddox was also 3-for-4 with 2RBI.
Walker Sinclair and
Kyle LaRoche both had 2 hits.

Alex Brown came in to pitch. 8 different AU players pitched in the afternoon game.
