Augusta Women's Golf Announces 2022-23 Schedule

AUGUSTA, Ga. – The Augusta University women's golf team has revealed their 2022-23 season schedule. The Jaguars' slate features nine events with the addition of the NCAA Regionals and NCAA Championship dates.


FULL SCHEDULE 

 
This will be the second year that the women's golf team will play in the Southland Conference as an affiliate member. Last season, The Jaguars captured the Southland Conference Championship title in their inaugural year in the tournament. With the win, the Augusta Women's Golf Program secured an automatic bid to the NCAA Franklin Regional.  Head Coach Caroline Haase-Hegg was named Southland Conference Coach of the Year.
The Jaguars open the new season in Knoxville, TN Sept. 19-20 at the Mercedes Benz Women's Collegiate. Traveling to Greenville, SC the next weekend, the team will compete at the Lady Paladin on Sept. 23-24.
 
The Jaguars will have two events in October. The team will be in Savannah, Ga Oct. 17-19 at The Southern, hosted by Georgia Southern. Augusta will then head to Miami, Florida Oct. 31 – Nov. 1 for the Hurricane Invitational.
 
Augusta will have five more events in 2023. The squad will play in the Moon Golf Invitational Feb. 19-21 in Melbourne, FL. The ream will return to the sunshine state March 4-5 for the Vystar Gator Invitational in Gainesville, Fl.
 
The Jaguars will finally come home March 11-12 for the Valspar Augusta Invitational. The squad will play a final Florida State Matchup March 17-18 on Tallahassee, FL before closing the regular season at the Southland Conference Championship.
 
The NCAA Regionals will be held May 8-10 at four different sites around the nation. The NCAA Championships will occur May 19-24 in Scottsdale, AZ.
