MORROW, Ga - The Augusta University Women's Basketball team fell to the Clayton State Lakers 77-67 on Saturday afternoon. Augusta is now 12-8, 5-5 PBC while Clayton State improves to 10-9, 5-5 PBC.
The Jaguars return to Christenberry Fieldhouse on Wednesday Feb. 1 for a 5:30 matchup against North Georgia.

Tomiyah Alford led scoring for AU with 16 points to go along with 6 rebounds.
Mone Florence tallied 14 points, going 4-for-6 from the field.
Autumn Phillips had 13 points and 4 steals while
Kennedi Manning had 12 points.
The Lakers held a 33-24 lead at the half. A jumper from
Tomiyah Alford sparked a 6-0 run for Augusta, but a huge 12-2 run in the third quarter opened a 16-point lead for Clayton State.
A steal and fast break jumper from
Je'Bria Fullwood narrowed the lead to single digits early in the fourth quarter, but Augusta was unable to close the gap and fell 66-77.
Audrey McElhaney led with 21 points for the Lakers. Laylah Davis added 16 points Jordan Jones put up 10 points.
