STATESBORO, Ga. – The Augusta University women's golf team finished fourth at The Southern hosted by Georgia Southern. The Jags shot 298 on the final day of play. Played at the Savannah Golf Club in Savannah, Georgia,
Victoria Zheng and
Kennedy Carroll both finished tied for ninth to lead Augusta.
Victoria Zheng shot a 3-under 69 in the second round before closing the tournament with a 77 (+7) overall. Carroll steadily improved over the three rounds, registering a 77 and 74 before turning in an even-par 72 on the final day to also finish her tournament +7.
Keira Gonzalez McCarthy improved three strokes on her Round 2 score to card a 1-over 73 and finish tied for 21
st.
Napabhach Boon-In shot a 76 on the final day to finish tied for 35
th.
Rounding out the Jaguar squad,
Chiara Sola finished 61
st overall.
