FAYETTEVILLE, N.C. – The No. 10 ranked Augusta Jaguar men's basketball team lost at the buzzer to Fayetteville State after a furious comeback from the home team. Augusta is now 2-1 while Fayetteville State improves to 2-1. AU is set to host its first home game of the season on Tuesday, Nov. 21 against Benedict. Tipoff is set for 7 pm.

The Broncos shot 46.4% from the field to overcome an eight-point deficit. The Jaguars led 38-31 heading into the second half and would lead by as many as 16 points in the second half.
Ja'Queze Kirby led Augusta going 6-of-17 from the field and 3-of-6 from beyond the arc for 17 points and 7 rebounds.
David Viti used three triples to add 15 points of his own and match Kirby's 7 rebounds.
Demitri Gardner Max Amadasun, and
Davion McAdam were also in double figures, carding 13, 12, and 10 rebounds respectively.
AU committed 10 turnovers in their contest against Fayetteville State. The Broncos were picked to finish first in their conference.
Fayetteville State was led by Tairell Fletcher's 27 points.
