AUGUSTA, GA– Augusta University Athletics is pleased to announce the hiring of Amanda Fields as the Athletics Business Manager. 

"We're excited Amanda is joining our team," said Director of Athletics Ryan Erlacher. "Her service-oriented approach and desire to go above and beyond will serve our teams exceedingly well. We look forward to seeing how Amanda will put her stamp on our business operations and I have no doubt she will be a tremendous addition to our department."

Fields, a native of Pennsylvania, joins the Department after working as the Business Manager and Literacy Center Specialist at Augusta University. There she efficiently managed literacy center grants, state budgets, and foundation budgets through purchasing, grant tracking, check requests, and monthly staffing budget checks. Fields also approved all hires, purchases, and budget services for the department, promoting financial transparency and compliance.

I look forward to supporting all the coaches and administrators as I assume the role of Athletics Business Manager."

Fields will serve as a key member of the Department of Athletics administrative leadership team. She is responsible for initiating and monitoring all financial aspects of the department, including administrative budgets, accounts payable, accounts receivable, travel, and all required financial reports.

Fields was a student-athlete at Drexel University where she graduated with a degree in Sports Business Administration.
