Box Score Aiken, S.C. – Augusta made it three wins in two days at the Convocation Center, sweeping Francis Marion on Saturday afternoon, 25-20, 26-24, 25-16. The Jaguars improved to 5–1 overall with the result.
Augusta finished with 43 kills on .230 hitting and 6.0 team blocks, while Francis Marion hit .154 with 31 kills. The Jaguars also produced 63 digs and 11 aces in the win.
Layne Witherspoon delivered 15 kills on .387 hitting to lead all players and added three block assists. Mia Saavedra notched 10 kills, five aces, and 14 digs, while Sofiia Snitsarevych hit .267 with seven kills. Setter Sydney Harrington spread the offense with 32 assists, and libero Giulia Rodrigues anchored the back row with 15 digs.
After closing out the first set 25-20, Augusta held off a late Francis Marion push in the second to edge 26-24. The Jaguars then pulled away in the third, hitting .314 as Witherspoon and Saavedra combined for eight kills in the frame.
