AUGUSTA, Ga. - the Augusta University women's basketball team took a 68-52 road win over the Flagler College Saints on Saturday afternoon. The Jaguars are now 17-9, 10-6 in conference play while Flagler falls to 6-20, 3-13 PBC .

Balanced offense propelled Augusta to victory to keep them in a tie for second in the Peach Belt Conference standings. Four different Augusta players were in double-figures for the afternoon.
Kennedi Manning had 14 points and 8 rebounds in her 26 minutes of play.
Mone Florence had 12 points, 3 assists, and 3 steals.
Tomiyah Alford had 12 points and five rebounds.
Autumn Phillips carded 10 points.
Alford paced AU in the first half, scoring 10 of her 12 points in the first 20 minutes of regulation. Augusta got off to an early lead, with a jumper from
Kiera Howard giving AU a 16-6 lead six minutes into the game. Made buckets from Phillips and
Shamaria Jennings put the Jags up fourteen.
Steady offense in the second half saw Augusta establish a comfortable lead. Two free throws from Alford sparked an 11-2 run to give Augusta a 42-20 lead at halftime. The Jags would lead by as many as 26 points in the game, winning 68-52.
Augusta travels to North Georgia this Wednesday before returning home to take on Slayton State on Sunday for the last regular season home game.
