TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – The Augusta University women's golf team finished second at the Florida State Match Up at Seminole Legacy (par 72, 6,225 yards). The Jaguars bested No. 27 Kentucky and No. 38 Kent for the team's second straight second place finish.
Augusta shot 302 (+25) in the final round of play.
Freshmen
Victoria Zheng and
Mirabel Ting paced the Jags, finishing the tournament at five-over par to tie for seventh place.
Daniela Burgos carded a Round 3 team best 73 (+1) to solidify her 12
th place finish.
Kennedy Carroll ender her the tournament tied for 25
th after carding a 78 in her final round of play.
Chiara Sola finished tied for 38
th.
Competing as an individual,
Napabhach Boon-In also turned in a top-15 finish.
The 12th-ranked Seminoles won their home tournament by a large margin of 25 strokes.
