GREENVILLE, SC -The Augusta University women's golf team shot a 6-under 282 in the final round to take their share of the team championship at the 49
th annual Lady Paladin Invitational Sunday afternoon. Four Jaguars finished in the top fifteen on the par-72, 6,262-yard Furman University Golf Course in Greenville, S.C.
Augusta carded a tournament-best 282 on Sunday, led by
Kennedy Carroll's tournament-low round of 67. Her 5-under final round lifted Augusta past North Florida and Western Kentucky to share the championship title with host Furman.
Napabhach Boon-In finished tied for 7th at 2-over for the tournament. Victoria Zheng and Keira Gonzalez-McCarthy shot 1-under 71s on Sunday to finish one stroke behind Boon-In. Carroll finished 13th overall. Daniela Burgos improved on her Saturday score by 6 strokes, shooting a 2-over 73 in the final 18 holes.
