The win improves the Jaguars' record to 4-0, marking their third road win of the season. Augusta will next face Francis Marion University on Wednesday, November 20, at 5:30 p.m. in Florence, SC.

The Jaguars started strong, jumping out to a commanding 23-11 lead in the first quarter. Mone Florence sparked the offense early with two three-pointers and a layup, finishing the quarter with seven points. Fayetteville State rallied in the second quarter, narrowing the deficit to 30-26 at halftime as Augusta's shooting cooled.
The third quarter was a defensive battle, with both teams struggling to score. Key rebounds by Autumn Phillips and a timely three-pointer from Florence kept the Jaguars in control. In the fourth quarter, Fayetteville State cut the lead to two with under a minute remaining, but Florence iced the game with clutch free throws in the closing seconds.
