Franklin Springs, GA – Behind dominant performances from Maximillian Amadasun and Demitri Gardner, the Augusta men's basketball team secured a hard-fought 89-84 road win over Emmanuel College on Tuesday afternoon at Shaw Athletic Center. The victory pushes the Jaguars to 5-4 on the season, while the Lions drop to 5-5.

The game saw multiple lead changes before Augusta pulled away in the second half with a 50-point offensive explosion. Max Amadasun led the charge with 30 points and 14 rebounds, shooting an impressive 14-21 from the field. Demitri Gardner added 21 points on 9-13 shooting, including three three-pointers, while contributing three rebounds and two assists.
John St. Germain III played a key role, stuffing the stat sheet with 13 points, eight assists, and three steals. Off the bench, Evan Joyner added 10 points and three rebounds, while Elias Palsson chipped in seven points, including two clutch three-pointers in the second half.
Augusta's efficiency in the paint, where they scored 44 points, combined with their sharp three-point shooting (9-14), proved to be the difference. Emmanuel's Tavarus Webb led all scorers with 30 points but couldn't offset Augusta's balanced offensive attack.
