GAINESVILLE, GA - Augusta men's golf finished the Gators Invitational seventh after battling rainy conditions over the two-day tournament. Augusta shot a 295 on the final 18 holes to finish 15-over.
RESULTS
Host University of Florida won the invitational (-26), besting second-place North Florida (-13) by a full 13 strokes. South Florida rounded out the top three (+1).
Ryan van der Klis led the way for the Jaguars, firing a 4-under 68 to finish tied for 13
th.
Cole Stevens, a native of Johannesburg, South Africa, carded a 214 (-1) for a tie for 32
nd after shooting a 78 in the third round.
Dawson Booth shot a 6-over 76 in the third round to finish tied for 43
rd.
Stefan Jacobs and
Behn Heyns finished tied for 57
th and tied for 65
th respectively.
