Sea Island, Ga. - A year after winning the Georgia Amateur, Augusta's Bo Blanchard II finished in a tie for ninth, at 4-over-par, in the 2026 tournament.

After an opening round 71, Blanchard was in a tie for third place. He then shot 72, 76 and 73 to finish out the event. This year's tournament was won by Evan Rogers of Duluth, Ga. 

This year was the 105th playing of the Georgia Amateur with a field of 144 golfers.  

Blanchard's opening round 71 was highlighted by five birdies. A late double bogey cost him a better round. He finished with three birdies and three bogeys in round two and only had one birdie in round three. His final round on Sunday featured two birdies, a bogey and a double bogey. All told, just three golfers finished under par for the event.
