AUGUSTA, GA - The Augusta University women's tennis team took a hard-fought 4-3 win over visiting Middle Georgia. Playing their second game in as many days, Augusta was able to snag the win over the future Peach Belt Conference member. AU will travel to Sumter, South Carolina on Sunday, Feb 11 to play Barton in a neutral site, non-conference matchup. 

AU won two of the three doubles, with Madeline Frediani/Camila Taborga and Priscilla Landi and Giovanna Patrocinio taking definitive 6-2 victories. 

Frediani then outlasted Sandr Recuenco 7-5, 6-4 at the No. 1 singles spot. At the NO. 4 singles, Priscilla Landi battled for a 7-6, 7-5 victory over Paula Rodriguez. Camila Taborga also won at the No. 5 singles 6-4, 6-3.
