EATONTON, GA -The Augusta University men's golf team climbed three spots for an eighth-place finish at the Linger Longer Invitational. Den Wilken paced the Jaguars at the Great Waters Golf Course. AU carded a 295 in the final round of play.
 
RESULTS
The Jaguars went 7-over on the final dayImproving three spots in the final round, Augusta finished four strokes behind host Kennesaw State. No. 16 Alabama won the tournament.
 
Dean Wilken kept his place atop AU's leaderboard on the final day, turning in an even-par 72 to finish the tournament tied for 34
th.
Stefan Jacobs carded a 75 (+3) to wrap his day tied for 46
th. 
Dawson Booth finished just one stroke behind in 48
th after shooting a 73 (+1) on Tuesday. 
Cole Stevens finished tied for 49
th while 
Ryan van der Klis finished tied for 52
nd,
 
Next, Augusta will host the Haskins Award Invitational on April 6-7 at Forest Hills Golf Course.
