WEST POINT, MS - The Augusta University men's golf team put together a 36-hole score of 586, 8-under par on Monday at the Mossy Oak Collegiate. The Jaguars are in fourth place on the 14-team leaderboard following the first two rounds on the par-72, 7,212-yard Mossy Oak Golf Course.

After a first round of 4-under par in the morning, Augusta stayed consistent with an identical 284 second-round score. Augusta was one of only five teams in the field to go under-par in both rounds on Monday. AU enters Tuesday's final round three strokes back from third-place Ole Miss. Auburn sits atop the leaderboard (-35). Cincinnati (-12) is second heading into Tuesday's round.

After finishing third at the Augusta Haskins Award Invitational,
Ryan van der Klis opened the tournament on a tear. Van der Klis shot a 66 (-6) in the opening round before carding a 70 (-3) in the second round. He enters the final round third overall.

Cole Stevens is tied for 18
th after rounds of 70 (-2) and an even-par 72 on the first 36-holes of play.
Stefan Jacobs made huge strides through the day, improving on his first-round score by six strokes (76-70) to finish tied for 43
rd.

Dawson Booth and
Dean Wilken are tied for 66
th. Booth listed rounds of 78 and 72 while Wilken registered rounds of 72 and 78.

For Tuesday's final round, Augusta is set to tee off with Kansas State and Southern Mississippi starting at 8:50 am.
