BEAUMONT, Texas — The Augusta University men's golf team used a dominant second and third round to claim the 2024 Southland Conference Championship title.
Cole Stevens finished six-under par to take the individual title on the par-72, 7,253 Comanche Trace course.

With the victory, Augusta earned the conference's automatic berth in the NCAA Division I Men's Golf Championship for the second consecutive season. AU shot a team score of 855 (288-275-292) across 54 holes.
Stevens led the tournament end-to-end, carding a 2-over 75 in the final round to take home the title. Sophomore
Stefan Jacobs gave Stevens a run for his money, shooting a 71 in the final round to close his tournament only one stroke back at five-under par. Jacobs finished second overall.
Dawson Booth finished tied for fifth at one-over par after firing a round of 74.
Ryan van der Klis made immense strides, carding an even-par 72 to climb ten spots on the leaderboard and finish tied for tenth.
Dean Wilken also finished in the top 20, shooting a 76 (+4) in his final round.
