DAHLONEGA, GA - The Augusta University softball team fell to No. 5 seed USC Aiken 3-1 in the Peach Belt Conference Tournament. Augusta finishes their season 20-29 overall and 8-16 in the conference.

Augusta got down early after a two-run home run by the Pacers in the first inning.

Candance Winder cut the Pacers lead to 2-1, hitting a RBI double in the second inning.

USC Aiken added one more run in the low-scoring affair to win the game 3-1.

Madalyn Spinks started on the mound for Augusta, striking out two batters and giving up three runs off four hits in three innings pitched.
Ansley Gibson pitched in relief, pitching three innings and striking out five batters.
