MILLEDGEVILLE, GA - The Augusta University baseball team fell 8-0 to host and No. 2 seed Georgia College on Friday afternoon. The Jaguars will take on either Columbus State or North Georgia on Saturday May 4 at 3:00 pm.

The Jaguar offense registered four hits to the Bobcats 14. Georgia College capitalized on a throwing error in the second inning for a single run. The home team tacked on two more runs in the fifth inning, one in the sixth, and four in the eighth inning.
In the ninth inning, Harrison Aulds and Jake Vachon knocked base hits, but AU could not convert.
 
Aulds, Vachon, Parker Ingram, and Mike Morrison all recorded hits in the game.
Will Cantrell (4-4) started on the mound for Augusta. Pitching the first 6.0 innings. Gavin Zoeller and Aeden Cates both saw time pitching in relief.
