Augusta, GA – Augusta University Athletics has announced the addition of Brooke Gandy to the sports medicine staff. Gandy joined the team in August 2024 and will primarily be responsible for overseeing the sports medicine needs of the baseball team while also assisting with the care of all 13 NCAA sports at Augusta University.
"I'm excited to become a part of the Augusta community and serve the student-athletes at one of finest institutions in the south," said Gandy. "I look forward to supporting each and everyone of you. Go Jags!"
Before joining Augusta University, Gandy worked as an athletic trainer at the Atlanta Rehabilitation and Performance Center, where she provided comprehensive sports medicine coverage for Loganville High School.
Originally from Daytona Beach, Florida, Gandy pursued her education at the University of South Florida, where she earned her Bachelor's degree in Exercise Science and a Master's degree in Athletic Training from 2018 to 2023
