AUGUSTA, Ga. – Augusta University Basketball welcomes fans back to a newly renovated Christenberry Fieldhouse on Tuesday, Nov. 19, for its home-opening doubleheader, featuring exciting promotions and a packed game-day atmosphere.
The Jaguars take the court with the women's team hosting Catawba at 5:30 p.m., followed by the men's team facing Emmanuel at 7:30 p.m. Fans can secure their seats now by purchasing tickets online at tickets.augustajags.com.
The night will feature Young Jags Night, inviting elementary students from Richmond, Columbia, and Aiken counties to experience Augusta Basketball. Up to five children receive free admission with the purchase of a discounted adult ticket, making it an affordable and family-friendly night to cheer on the Jaguars. In addition to the action on the court, young fans can enjoy face painting and games throughout the evening.
Augusta University students are encouraged to come early and enjoy an indoor tailgate on the mezzanine, exclusively for AU students with a valid AU ID. The tailgate will include food, cornhole, yard games, and more for students to enjoy throughout the night. In addition, the first 300 students in attendance will receive a free T-shirt.
Fans can also look forward to in-game giveaways and on-court contests throughout the evening. With two games, family activities, student events, and the opportunity to experience the new look of Christenberry Fieldhouse, the home-opening doubleheader is the perfect chance to pack the stands and show support for the Jaguars.
