Wilmington, N.C. - After the opening round of the Williams Cup Presented by STITCH Golf, the Augusta men are 12-over-par. Florida has the team lead and is followed by Notre Dame and Texas.

Behn Heyns was the low Jaguar in the opening round with an even-par 72. Heyns did make five birdies on the round, but had three bogeys and a double bogey for his final score.

Stefan Jacobs fired a 2-over-par. Jacobs did make three birdies on the afternoon at Eagle Point Golf Club.

Bo Blanchard II and Pieter Rossouw Jr. both had rounds of 77. Blanchard and Rossouw both had one birdie on the afternoon. 

The final score was turned in by Josh Daniels, who shot 79 on Saturday.

The tournament's second round will be held on Monday with the first tee times starting at 8:15 a.m.
