MILLEDGEVILLE, Ga. – The Augusta women's cross country team finished second at the 2025 Peach Belt Conference Championships on Saturday morning, hosted by Georgia College in Milledgeville, Ga. Senior Madison Thomas was named the Peach Belt Conference Runner of the Year after leading Augusta with a third-place finish.
RESULTS
Augusta posted a total team time of 1:37:09 with an average 5K time of 19:25 and a scoring spread of 46 seconds. The Jaguars placed five runners inside the top 25 and two on the All-Conference Team.
Thomas led Augusta with a time of 18:56.5 to finish third overall. Junior Maria Biondollilo placed 12th in 19:27.0, and freshman Swaye Mohler finished 29th in 20:00.5. All three earned Peach Belt All-Conference honors.
Additional scorers for Augusta included junior Danielle Thayer (19:30.2, 17th), freshman Josabeth Graciano (19:33.0, 18th), and freshman Amelia Ogden (19:42.7, 23rd). Rounding out the lineup were Elkin Regina (19:54.5), Gabriella Burton (20:09.5), Cheyenne Ryan (20:34.8), Ansley Graddy (20:35.2), Grace Gyetko (20:35.4), Sophia Cook (20:45.4), Gabby Jourdain (20:52.6), Caleigh Munro (21:12.0), and Brie Andrews (22:41.0).
Augusta returns to competition on Saturday, Nov. 8, at the NCAA Southeast Regional hosted by Wingate University in Wingate, N.C.
