Augusta, Ga. - After trips to Florida and North Carolina to start the season, the Augusta University men's basketball team will play their first home game of the year Wednesday at 7:30 against Emmanuel University.

It is also Young Jags Night for elementary students from Richmond, Columbia, and Aiken counties. With the purchase of a discounted $5 adult ticket, fans may bring up to five children for free. Young fans can enjoy face painting provided by Augusta Softball.Â
Not only that, but Augusta University students are encouraged to arrive early for an indoor tailgate on the mezzanine beginning at 5:30 p.m., featuring food, cornhole, and yard games. The Augusta University Police Department will be on-site grilling hot dogs, and the first 300 students in attendance will receive a free T-shirt, while the first 500 students will receive free food.
