WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – The Augusta University men's tennis team bounced back from its first loss of the season with a 5-2 victory over Palm Beach Atlantic on Saturday at the Mitch Gornto Tennis Center.

Augusta secured the doubles point by winning two of the three matches. David Perret and Arthur Valette dominated at No. 3 doubles with a 6-1 win, while Mario Curiel and Humberto Pinto followed with a convincing 6-2 victory at No. 2. The No. 1 doubles team of Alexis Bailhache and Enzo Garutti battled but fell 5-7.

In singles play, Augusta controlled the match, winning four of six matchups. Garutti delivered a strong performance at No. 1, securing a 6-3, 6-2 victory. Bailhache followed with a 6-4, 6-2 win at No. 2, while Perret took a commanding 6-4, 6-2 win at No. 4. Valette earned another point for Augusta with a 6-0, 7-6 win at No. 5.

Palm Beach Atlantic picked up wins at No. 3 and No. 6 singles. Pinto fell 3-6, 2-6 at No. 3, while Curiel battled through three sets but ultimately lost 4-6, 6-2, 1-6 at No. 6.
