AUGUSTA, GA – The Augusta University men's basketball program is under consideration in the first NCAA Regional Rankings. This opening set of rankings is done alphabetically, with the first numerical rankings set to come out next Wednesday.
The Jaguars, who hold a record of 15-8 against NCAA DII competition and 15-8 overall, are one of three PBC schools to appear in the rankings, along with Columbus State and USC Aiken. Augusta is seeking their sixteenth NCAA Tournament appearance after narrowly missing the tournament field last season.
Augusta returns home for a Peach Belt Conference matchup against North Georgia on Saturday, February 22, at 3:30 p.m. The game will also serve as Senior Day and the Homecoming Game at Christenberry Fieldhouse.
