MILLEDGEVILLE, GA – The Augusta women's basketball team secured a dominant 74-55 road victory over Georgia College on Wednesday night at the Centennial Center. The Jaguars improve to 19-8 overall and 11-6 in Peach Belt Conference play, while the Bobcats drop to 16-11 and 9-8 in league action.

Augusta controlled the game from the start, using a strong second quarter to take a 38-32 lead into halftime. The Jaguars outscored Georgia College 36-23 in the second half, sealing the win with a 24-point fourth quarter.
Quinasia Abercrombie led Augusta with 14 points and 12 rebounds, recording another double-double while adding three steals. Mone Florence contributed 13 points, hitting all four of her free throws, while Je'Bria Fullwood added 12 points and seven rebounds. Yamani Paul came off the bench to score 10 points, knocking down two three-pointers.
Augusta's defense held Georgia College to just 30.4% shooting and forced 11 turnovers. The Jaguars also dominated inside, outscoring the Bobcats 38-14 in the paint and winning the rebounding battle 42-35.
