Augusta, GA – Augusta's Peach Belt Conference Tournament run ended Wednesday night with a 77-68 loss to North Georgia at Christenberry Fieldhouse. The Jaguars now await their fate as they look for a potential bid to the NCAA Division II Tournament, with the selection show set for Sunday.

North Georgia set the tone early, building a 43-29 lead at halftime. Augusta battled back in the second half, outscoring the Nighthawks 39-34, but could not erase the deficit.
Demitri Gardner led Augusta with 27 points and three rebounds, going 9-for-19 from the field and 9-for-12 from the free-throw line. Max Amadasun recorded 16 points, 15 rebounds, and five blocks, securing another double-double. John St. Germain III finished with 13 points, six assists, and five steals, while Elias Palsson added eight points off the bench.
Despite a strong defensive effort in the second half, the Jaguars struggled with turnovers, committing 18 that led to 17 North Georgia points. The Nighthawks shot over 53% from beyond the arc, making seven three-pointers to help secure the victory.
