AUGUSTA, Ga. – Augusta University head men's basketball coach Dip Metress announced the signing of freshman forward Daniel Daramola to the 2025-26 roster.

"When I saw Daniel play the first thing I noticed was his activity and willingness to compete through contact," said Metress. "After meeting him face to face I realized what a special person and story he had coming over from Lagos, Nigeria four years ago to accomplish his lifelong goals."

Daramola averaged 17.5 points and 11.2 rebounds per game as a senior at Greenforest Christian, where he helped lead his team to back-to-back state championships. A consistent force on both ends of the court, he was named First Team All-Region three times and earned All-State honors twice.
