Augusta, Ga- Despite scoring six runs in the first three innings,  Augusta came up on the wrong side of the scoreboard as Flagler won the series finale 10-6 Sunday afternoon. The Jaguars are 8-19 in Peach Belt Conference play and 12-38 overall. The Saints improve to 13-14 in conference play and 30-18 overall. 

After giving up a run in the first, the Jags responded in a big way. Nolan Turner and Mike Morrison both collected singles to lead off the bottom of the first. Rushton Bowles would then walk to load the bases. Jackson Thomas then delivered a two-run single. Aidan Cannaday would follow with a RBI double making it 3-0. Wyatt Talik kept in going with a single plating the fourth run of the inning. J. Ben Haynes would cap off the frame with a RBI single as the Jags jumped out to a 5-1 lead. 

Flagler would score two runs in the second, but AU would get one of them back in the third. Cannaday singled to start things off and moved to third on Talik's second hit of the game. Ty McClintock would deliver a sacrifice fly for a 6-3 lead. 

But that was the last run Augusta would score as the Saints would chip away at the AU lead. The Saints scored two in the fifth and then took the lead in the seventh by taking advantage of some AU miscues in the field. 

Haynes collected a career high three hits while Cannaday, Jackson and Talik each had two on the game. 

Augusta will next be in action in the Peach Belt Conference Tournament May 2.
