Norman, Ok. - After a long rain delay to start the day, play was suspended at the NCAA Regional in Norman, Ok. Tuesday evening with many golfers, including Augusta's
Zoe Pinillos, still on the course. While some did finish, a good portion of the field will have to come back Wednesday to finish up the final round of the 54 hole regional.
Pinillos, playing in the last group of the day, is through 12 holes and is 5 over for the tournament, in a tie for 31st place.Â
After two pars to start the day, she bogied No. 3. and then No 9 to make the turn at 2 over for the round. Pinillos then bogied No. 11 before posting her first birdie of the day on the next hole. But due to darkness, play was suspended at 7:40 CST.Â
Adrea Revueita of Stanford is in the clubhouse at 8 under par.Â
The top individual, not on one of the top 5 teams, will get a spot in the NCAA Championship which will take place in California later this month.Â
