AUGUSTA, Ga. – Augusta University men's basketball has added freshman guard Charlie McBeath to the 2025-26 roster, head coach Dip Metress announced.

"Charlie is one hard-playing kid," said Metress. "He will bring us a mindset that is needed on a championship-level team. The first thing that people will notice about him is how competitive he is as a player and his relentlessness on the floor."

McBeath competed for the Bankstown Bruins in Australia's NBL1 during the 2024-2025 season, appearing in 13 games. He averaged 10.7 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 1.4 assists per game while shooting 47.6 percent from the field, 41.3 percent from three-point range, and 91.7 percent from the free throw line.
