Augusta Women’s Basketball Unveils 2025-26 Schedule

AUGUSTA, GA – Augusta University head women's basketball coach Celeste Stewart has announced the 2025-26 women's basketball schedule. The new slate features 27 regular season contests and includes 15 home games inside Christenberry Fieldhouse.

2025 Women's Basketball Schedule

The Jaguars finished the 2024-25 season 20-9 overall and will return last year's Peach Belt Conference Freshman of the Year, Quinasia Abercrombie, to the lineup.

From Head Coach Celeste Stewart

"I think we have a competitive non-conference schedule this year, playing multiple teams that played in the NCAA Tournament. That's always our goal to make sure we are playing at the highest level year in and year out. So getting battle tested early is going to be important for us, especially going into conference play."

On hosting the conference crossover, Stewart added, "It's been three years now since we've hosted the conference challenge, so I'm excited about that, especially since it will also be our season opener."

She also addressed Middle Georgia joining the Peach Belt Conference: "I think the more that we have to our conference play, I think it's better as far as competition goes. We're constantly competing and battling every single day, so we're just looking forward to that new competition."

Augusta opens the season at home with the PBC Conference Crossover, hosting North Greenville University on November 14 and Barton College on November 15. The Jaguars will remain at Christenberry Fieldhouse to welcome Catawba College on November 19 and Livingstone College on November 23, before hitting the road for their first away contest at Coker University on November 25.

Conference play begins December 3 when the Jaguars host Flagler College. Augusta continues its PBC slate with another home matchup against Georgia Southwestern State University on December 6, followed by a trip to USC Beaufort on December 10. The Jaguars return home to face Georgia College on December 13 before traveling to Columbus State on December 17 and Belmont Abbey on December 20. The calendar year closes with a December 31 home contest against Converse.

The Jaguars open 2026 on the road at new conference member Middle Georgia State on January 3 before returning home to take on Clayton State on January 7. A trip to Lander follows on January 10 before Augusta hosts USC Aiken on January 14. The road stretch continues with contests at North Georgia (Jan. 21) and Flagler (Jan. 24). The Jaguars then return to Christenberry Fieldhouse for a January 28 matchup with USC Beaufort before finishing the month on the road at Georgia Southwestern on January 31.

February opens with a home game against Columbus State on February 4, followed by a trip to Georgia College on February 7. The Jaguars then host Lander on February 11 before making the short trip to USC Aiken on February 14. Road action continues at Clayton State on February 18 before Augusta returns home for a February 21 matchup with Middle Georgia State and a February 25 meeting with North Georgia.

The regular season concludes with the Peach Belt Conference Tournament. Quarterfinals are set for Wednesday, March 4, with semifinals on Saturday, March 7, and the championship final on Sunday, March 8.
