AUGUSTA, Ga. — Augusta University men's basketball has bolstered its roster with eight new additions ahead of the 2025–26 season. The incoming class features a talented mix of freshmen and transfers who bring national, international, and championship-level experience across all positions.
Head coach Dip Metress and the Jaguars welcome Daniel Daramola, DaRon Dunbar, Tanner Harrell, Charlie McBeath, Camryn Pacheco, Tobias Prall, Rodney Scott, and Matias Zanotto — a group expected to make immediate contributions as Augusta looks to continue its tradition of excellence in the Peach Belt Conference.
Daniel Daramola
Decatur, Ga. • 6'9" • Forward
Freshman – Greenforest Christian
Daramola averaged 17.5 points and 11.2 rebounds per game as a senior at Greenforest Christian, helping lead his team to back-to-back state championships. A consistent presence on both ends of the floor, he earned First Team All-Region honors three times and was named All-State twice.
DaRon Dunbar
North Augusta, S.C. • 6'4" • Guard
Freshman – North Augusta High School
Dunbar posted 18.9 points, 8 rebounds, and 2 assists per game during his senior year at North Augusta High School. Known for his efficiency and athleticism, he played a key role at one of the premier programs in South Carolina.
Tanner Harrell
North Augusta, S.C. • 6'3" • Guard
Freshman – North Augusta High School
Harrell joins the Jaguars aftera standout career at North Augusta High School.He attended the University of South Carolina in 2024 and looks forward to returning to basketball.
Charlie McBeath
Sydney, Australia • 6'5" • Guard
Freshman – Bankstown Bruins (NBL1)
McBeath competed in Australia's NBL1 with the Bankstown Bruins during the 2024–25 season, averaging 10.7 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 1.4 assists over 13 games. He shot 47.6% from the field, 41.3% from three-point range, and 91.7% from the free throw line.
Camryn Pacheco
Harrisonburg, Va. • 6'3" • Guard
Freshman – Spotswood High School
Pacheco averaged 25.1 points, 7.7 rebounds, and 7.7 assists per game as a senior, while leading Spotswood High School to the VHSL Class 3 State Championship — the first boys basketball title in program history. He also averaged 9.3 deflections per game and shot 51% from the field, 40% from three, and 81% from the line. He graduated as Spotswood's all-time leader in assists, deflections, and recoveries, and was second all-time in scoring and rebounds. His awards include Mr. Basketball (BCAV), VHSL Class 3 State Player of the Year, and multiple First Team All-State and Player of the Year honors.
Tobias Prall
Trenton, N.J. • 6'2" • Guard
Junior – Southeast Arkansas College
Prall averaged 17.6 points, 6.8 rebounds, and 2.3 assists per game in 29 games during the 2024–25 season at Southeast Arkansas College. He shot 44.0% from the field, 41.9% from three-point range, and 90.2% at the free throw line — hitting over 100 threes on the year and ranking among the top JUCO shooters in the nation.
Rodney Scott
Baltimore, Md. • 5'10" • Guard
Freshman – Our Lady of Mount Carmel School
Scott averaged 7 points and 5 assists per game as a senior and was named First Team All-Baltimore Catholic League and First Team All-Baltimore Sun. He also received his school's Leadership Award after guiding Mount Carmel to a regular-season and conference tournament championship.
Matias Zanotto
Bahía Blanca, Argentina • 6'9" • Forward
Freshman – Euroleague Next Generation / Argentina U16 National Team
Zanotto brings international experience from the Euroleague Basketball Next Generation Tournament and Italy's Next Generation League, where he averaged 13.0 points and 7.0 rebounds per game. He also competed with Argentina's U16 National Team and is known for his length, rebounding instincts, and ability to finish naturally around the rim.
