West Columbia, S.C. - Led by
Bo Blanchard II and
Behn Heyns, the Augusta men's golf team is in ninth place at 2-over-par, after the opening round of the Bryan Bros Collegiate at Solina Golf Club in West Columbia, S.C. The tournament was moved up a day due to the threat of rain this week and the final two rounds will be played on Monday. Charlotte is currently the leader followed by LSU and Clemson.

LIVE SCORING
Blanchard led AU after an opening round 2-under-par 69 and is in 12th place. He started the day with two birdies on his first seven holes. He did have three more birdies on the back nine that were offset by three bogeys on his scorecard.
Heyns was 1-under-par for the day after registering two birdies and a single bogey.
The third counting score for the team was turned in by
Stefan Jacobs who shot 73 on Sunday.. He had four birdies, four bogeys and a double bogey on the day.
Jaguar newcomer
Pascal Gunther had the final counting score at 3-over-par.
Pieter Rossouw Jr.also carded a 74 for his opening round score.
Augusta is just five shots out of the top five as everyone will play 36 holes Monday.
