Knoxville, Tn. - The Augusta men's golf team wrapped up play in their first event of the fall with a 12th place finish at the Visit Knoxville Collegiate at Tennessee Knoxvillke Golf Club. The Jaguars finished at +26 for the three rounds. Tennessee won the team event, followed by Ole Miss and LSU.

Pieter Rossouw Jr. was the low Augusta golfer with an even-par-70 on Sunday. After starting with a bogey and double bogey in his first four holes, Rossouw rallied with a birdie before making the turn. He then had a string of three straight birdies on the back nine before one more bogey. He moved up 18 spots on the leaderboard to finish in 57th place. Â
Stefan Jacobs shot 71 in his final round for a total of 1-over-par for the tournament. That was good enough for 27th place as Jacobs was the low Jaguar for the event. His final round consisted of four birdies and five bogeys.Â
Behn Heyns rebounded after struggling on Saturday and registered the third counting score on the day with a 72. Heyns had four birdies in his round.Â
The final counting score on Sunday was turned in by Benjamin Lübker, who shot a 76. He rolled home one birdie, that coming on no. 14.Â
Bo Blanchard II was the final AU golfer and shot a 77 on Sunday. He did card three birdies during his round.Â
Augusta will next be in action Sept. 15-16 at the Bearcat Invitational in Cincinnati, Oh.
