ST. AUGUSTINE, Fla. – Amari Jackson posted 20 points and 11 rebounds, and Quinasia Abercrombie hit four three-pointers as Augusta women's basketball pulled away for a 68–52 Peach Belt Conference road win at Flagler on Saturday morning inside Flagler Gym.

Flagler opened the game with a strong first quarter, holding Augusta to nine points and taking a 14–9 lead after 10 minutes. The Jaguars settled in quickly in the second, flipping the game with a 27–10 quarter that turned the deficit into a 36–24 halftime advantage. Abercrombie knocked down three triples in the period, and Augusta shot 10-for-15 from the field in the quarter while building separation.

Flagler cut into the margin in the third, trimming it to 53–45 heading into the fourth, but Augusta closed the door with a 15–7 final period. Jackson controlled the paint down the stretch and finished the day 7-for-9 from the floor, adding four blocks. Elyse Autrey chipped in 10 points and four assists, while Sa'Niah Dorsey added 10 points with a pair of threes.

Augusta finished at 54.2% shooting (26-for-48) and went 7-for-16 from three, while holding Flagler to 32.3% from the field (20-for-62). The Jaguars also won the turnover battle, forcing 17 and turning them into 15 points.

AU basketball returns home Wednesday, Jan. 28 to host USC Beaufort for Greek Night.
