AMERICUS, Ga. – Sa'Niah Dorsey poured in 20 points and knocked down five three-pointers as Augusta picked up a 71–54 road win over Georgia Southwestern on Saturday evening at the Storm Dome.
Augusta set the tone early, holding the Hurricanes to just eight points in the first quarter and building a quick double-digit cushion behind strong ball movement and clean looks. The Jaguars led 19–8 after one, but Georgia Southwestern answered in the second quarter to make it a game, trimming the margin as Augusta took a 33–27 lead into halftime.
The swing came out of the break. Augusta opened the third quarter with a surge on both ends, turning stops into points and stretching the lead back out. Dorsey drilled a pair of triples during the run, and the Jaguars outscored the Hurricanes 23–13 in the third to take control. Augusta stayed steady in the fourth, pushing the margin as high as 18 and closing out the win.
Dorsey finished 7-for-11 from the field and 5-for-6 from three. Amari Jackson added 15 points, while Quinasia Abercrombie chipped in 14 points on 5-for-6 shooting and a perfect 4-for-4 at the line. Camerah Langston provided a spark off the bench with nine points in 21 minutes, and Sierra Burns added six assists.
